Donald Trump appeared to accuse House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., on Wednesday of being involved in a “sinister” plan to sabotage his presidential bid, just 27 days before the election.

“Already, the Republican nominee has a massive, a massive disadvantage and especially when you have the leaders not putting their weight behind the people,” Trump said in Ocala, Fla., as he launched into a riff about GOP leaders who have denounced him and withdrawn their support.

“They’re not putting their weight behind the people,” Trump repeated, drawing boos from the crowd.

“Instead of calling me and saying, ‘Congratulations. You did a great job. You absolutely destroyed [Hillary Clinton] in the debate,'” Trump said he didn’t hear from Ryan at all after Sunday’s presidential debate.
