Corona, now 53, has murdered at least eight people — including a soldier in Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán’s cartel — and was sentenced to roughly 25 years in prison in 2001. He was released in 2014 after becoming a federal witness and now works in construction. He had a wife and two kids prior to being incarcerated, but won’t say what his family situation is now.
