Things took a biblical turn Thursday at the University of Texas after communist students turned a fountain red to symbolize the “blood of women & all survivors” on International Women’s Day.

The words, “This is the blood of survivors that UT ignores,” accompanied by a hammer and sickle, were spray painted on a wall above Littlefield Fountain, which is a World War I memorial.

The Revolutionary Student Front’s Austin chapter appeared to take credit for the vandalism in posts on social media.
