Seismic swarm between Tenerife and Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands: More than 270 earthquakes have hit the area since April 29 and there is a huge fault just where they hit!

A swarm of small earthquakes is currently striking in between Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Although it seems to slow down, more than 270 earthquakes hit the area since April 29, 2018. And it doesn’t seem we are nearing a stop. That’s pretty scary knowing Teide volcano – Earth’s third-tallest volcanic structure – is nearby.
