Two men in Connecticut were found dead from possible drug overdoses inside a storage room behind a restaurant on Monday, according to a report.

A building manager and waiter gearing up for the lunch rush discovered the two men believed to have snuck when it was closed.

The men who were in their 50s, were declared dead on scene.

“One was an ex-employee. He hasn’t worked here in about a year.” Marco Siguenza, owner of Jack’s Bar and Steakhouse said.” The second man “was two days working here, basically still training.”

According to police, a third man, who had been a restaurant employee for two years was found outside of the supply closet in distress.

He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

All three suffered apparent drug overdoses, police said.

Officials do not suspect any foul play, but are looking into whether a bad batch of drugs is going around in the area, according to Assistant Chief Karl Jacobson.

“We would say to people thinking about using drugs in the area to use extreme caution until we figure out what this is,” Jacobson said.

“We’re sad, confused and a whole bunch of emotions we can’t explain,” said Siguenza.

“We’re sorry for the families of these people, we feel the pain they’re probably going through. I want everyone to know that this has nothing to do with the business itself,” he added.
