James O’Keefe will file a complaint against Twitter on Monday for defamation, after they permanently suspended him for allegedly creating fake accounts.

O’Keefe, the investigative journalist behind Project Veritas, was permanently suspended from Twitter on Thursday. O’Keefe, whose #ExposeCNN video trended on the platform this week, was removed from the social media network for allegedly violating their “fake account” policy:

You may not register or create fake and misleading accounts or use multiple accounts to manipulate Twitter conversations. While you may use Twitter pseudonymously or as a parody, commentary, or fan account, you may not use misleading account information in order to engage in spamming, abusive, or disruptive behaviour, including attempts to manipulate the conversations on Twitter.

In the notice sent to O’Keefe, Twitter confirmed that his account would not be reinstated.

As a result, O’Keefe will be suing Twitter for defamation, as he never “operated fake accounts” as Twitter claimed. “This is false, this is defamatory, and they will pay,” O’Keefe said. “Section 230 may have protected them before, but it will not protect them from me.” The complaint will be filed on Monday, the statement concluded.

The suspension of O’Keefe from Twitter comes as Project Veritas released multiple videos, exposing CNN’s Technical Director Charlie Chester, confirming that the network engaged in “propaganda” designed to ensure that President Trump would not be re-elected for a second term:

“Look, what we did. We got Trump out,” Chester said. “And I 100% believe it that if it wasn’t for CNN, I don’t that Trump would’ve got voted out,” he added. Rachelle Hoffman, CNN’s Graphics Producer, argued that it was mostly down to the coronavirus pandemic, but Chester shot back, admitting that he actually joined CNN to be a part of their anti-Trump “propaganda” campaign…

In the new video, Chester confirmed that not only was there a massive focus on President Trump’s health, but that it was a “propaganda” push, totally driven by “speculation”… In contrast, Biden was deliberately painted by the network as a “young geriatric,” with Chester noting that CNN would constantly show shots of him of jogging. “Showing him jogging was obviously deflection of his age,” Chester said. “I think we got him through the term.”

Earlier this month, Twitter temporarily suspended Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene for 12 hours, after she tweeted messages celebrating Easter Sunday. Twitter restored her account, claiming it was in error.

Twitter is also currently fighting another lawsuit. As National File reported, two survivors of child sexual abuse are suing the Big Tech platform, alleging that they knowingly refused to remove images of their abuse. “Both plaintiffs were harmed by Twitter’s distribution of material depicting their sexual abuse and trafficking, and by Twitter’s knowing refusal to remove the images of their sexual abuse (child pornography) when notified by John Doe #1 and his parents,” the plaintiffs’ legal team wrote.
