In many ways, Facebook has served us, bringing people from all over the world together. It seems everyone is on Facebook and if they’re not, we’re usually shocked — Really? Wow, how do you even communicate, bro? We all know a few of these elusive people… But, how can I creep your profile and stalk you if you’re not even on Facebook?! Perhaps these people understand some of the darker sides of Facebook.

Social disorder and Christian decline

There are a number of perplexing developments few wish to discuss in America: The correlation between the decline in spiritualism and the rise of Western anarchy. Beneath the glossy wrapping of materialism, hedonism and technological advancement, there is an alarming rate of social disorder and growing social unrest. There is a rampant denigration of religion, combined with high divorce and suicide rates, destructive drug abuse and a faltering economic standard. We have gigantic abuse of prescription pills, especially among women, and serious issues with mental disabilities. Remarkably, little is done to stop it.

Today is the National Day of Prayer

On Thursday, Americans will observe the National Day of Prayer. Observance of this goes back to 1952 when a joint resolution of Congress was signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. President Ronald Reagan amended the law in 1988, which designated the first Thursday of May each year the National Day of Prayer.
